"Got this in the Next Steps sampler. Really incredible floral fragrance from this tea as soon as the water hits it. Very fresh, lightly oxidized oolong with some nice depth. Couldn't stop drinking this one and will definitely be getting some more."

"This Anxi "Huang Jin gui" (golden turtle from Anxi province) is a steal. Delicious and bright. I first came to this tea seeking to broaden my knowledge of light, Anxi-style oolongs, and this did not disappoint. In comparison to Tieguanyin; the floral character is more full -- instead of a clear orchid hui gan, there is a full bouquet centered more on violet; the sour note is largely absent, and metallic note muted; and the qi of the tea is more well-rounded and calm. My leaves were somewhat darker than most Tieguanyin I've had While I haven't had any other golden turtle, this stands out among Anxi-style oolongs as a soft & approachable beauty, and seduces me every time"
