Not entirely as described, but nice

"Like a few other reviewers, I received five cups rather than the specified four, and upon measuring their volume found that each holds close to 55 mL... That said, I don't mind either discrepancy. The extra cup was an unexpected bonus, and the larger capacity means I can use just one cup with my 60mL gaiwan for solo drinking; the amounts match almost exactly. Regarding the quality of the cups, they're attractive in a simple, bold way. The texture of the clay exterior feels good in the hand, and while the cup does definitely grow warm when filled, it insulates well enough to be very comfortable. One cup did have a sort of bump in the clay, but it's not obvious and gives it some personality. The white interior shows off the colour of the contents well. Overall, I'm very pleased with these."

"I was amazed at the price for 4 very nice clay cups, very nice. I like the white glaze for seeing the color of my tea, for enjoyment. I love the solid weighted feel they give, when in use. I love them, thin and sturdy."

Perfect size and shape

"I really like this classic round shape, a nice balance between open mouth cups and more "closed" cups. They are vey thin despite being made of clay, and the clay is matte but soft to the touch and to the lip. The cups are stable, and elegant in a classic, subdued way. I like that the white interior shows the exact colour of the tea liquor. My son loves them, so I might get more with my next purchase if I can. Also, I purchased 4 cups and received 5, which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you !"
