Take a flight around the Famous Tea Region of Lincang prefecture in the southwest of Yunnan province. Most of our Lincang Raw Pu-erh Teas are from Fengqing, Yun Xian, Shuanjiang Mengku, and Yongde counties. Taste a curated selection of samples from our Autumn Harvest Yunnan Sourcing Brand Lincang Tea Cakes and develop an appreciation for the distinct aroma, flavor and mouthfeel of these amazing teas.

Pu-erh tea is made from Yunnan large-leaf varietal of Camellia Sinensis. It is typically processed into compressed cakes, bricks and tuos. Pu-erh is particularly special because it can be aged for decades or longer, always changing and (in most cases) developing more depth and texture. Raw Pu-erh (生茶) is the traditional form of Pu-erh, and is sun-dried and compressed.

Lincang Prefecture is one of the largest pu-erh producing tea regions. Bordered by Burma to the north and Pu’er Prefecture to the south, Lincang is home to a few of the most famed areas of tea production. Bingdao and Xi Gui being two of the most famous.

Worth the taste.

"They are all very similar, but worth the try if you want to get a hand on this cakes but you are still undecided. If you are expecting different teas, perhaps this one is not for you, however there are some distinctions. They are all a little bit woody, with some nut notes. Some are more herbal and sweet. My favourite is probably the Mu Shu Cha, with a wider spectrum of reassuring fragilities, like an equivalent of a painting in pastel tones. However, I do believe they all could use a time to age. Treat them like green teas, or those catechins will haunt you."

Smashing… an absolute treat. I

Pretty good and light tasting green tea, the color makes it special

"The color is really what makes this tea special but its not just the looks. For the price it is a well rounded green tea, not very bitter yet a distinct umami and sweet taste. Much like a green oolong. Worth a try!"
