This is one of those rare black teas where tea leaves and expert processing come together to create something unique and enjoyable. High altitude mao feng varietal grown in the Wu Liang mountains of Simao is briefly fermented by special technique and then finally processed into black tea.  The taste and aroma is distinctly floral and fruit throughout!

A unique tea that is quite different from any other Yunnan Black tea that we offer!

Wu Liang Hong Mao Feng

"Only a couple of teas I consider a "daily drinker ". This is at the top of my list ! Great value ! It's as described and better . Mei Zhan varietal is also outstanding . Overall , YS has excellent product to choose from ."

My kind of red

"I've been searching for my "white whale" red for over a year now, and have finally found it with this one. It has the robust body you'd expect from a Dianhong, but with much more complexity and some of the higher notes that are typical of a medium-to-heavy roasted Dancong. I'm not sure if it's the "brief fermentation"---which I can only assume is a longer oxidation time---but this one has everything I look for in red. I've tried the 2024 and 2025, and they are distinctly different; with more higher floral notes in the younger leaves. But, it ages nicely (at least over one year) and both are thoroughly enjoyable. Please don't buy this tea so that I can have a steady supply ;)"

Very nice tea

"I was looking for a sun-dried black tea and this really fit the Bill nicely. It has that malty taste, and then on subsequent infusions, it takes on a more sweeter nature. I really enjoy the energy off of it too. It’s stimulating but at the same time very relaxing. I drink it in the morning so far I’ve only brewed it western style, but will try kung fu soon. I’m sure the flavors will come out even more."

Packaging and stuff are awesome

"Packaging and stuff are awesome as always. Thank you!"

Very good

"Very pleasant, 5 stars for its quality/price ratio. I find its taste and aroma as a cross between a classic Dian Hong and a Jin Jun Mei. Floral with a sweetish taste not marked but that envelops the whole mouth, I also like it very much aesthetically, with a high presence of buds and whole leaves."

Great Tea Fast Delivery

"I love the option to try so many different teas. My aim is to have a good range of teas with distinctive flavours. I have now settled on a collection of five black teas; five oolong teas; 3 green teas and 3 white teas. This would not have been possible without Yunnan Sourcing. I like distinctive flavours so it is always a treat to discover a new variety or character which offers a unique experience. My current favourites are Sweet Potato Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong; Red Plumb black; and 13year old Da Hong Pao. For a special treat it is hard to beat Middle Mountain Mi LAN Xiang Oolong."

Surprised! Excellent flavor, happy sample

"Received a sample and read flavor notes . Was expecting floral/fruit like an oolong and was hesitant to try it. Glad I did! Very delicious , I got a nuttier rich taste, and good black tea. I steeped it four minutes and the color was lovely and deep. Thank you Yunnan Sourcing for broadening my experience."

Bought this on a whim,

"Bought this on a whim, and it might just be my favorite black tea I've tried so far. It starts out pretty subtle at first, but the longer it steeps the more nectar and honey-like its taste becomes. Great for someone like me who likes to make a big cup of tea and then forget about it lol."
