"I like all the tea, but as far as I can tell, the only one that has any smoky flavor to speak of is the lapsang souchong. Perhaps I need to train my taste buds better."

Surprising diversity!

"I found this sampler to be interesting and fun. There is a lot of variety between the members of this grouping. The old bush Lapsang is a very balanced and refined version of that style. The raw pu-erh's were each unique and I really enjoyed learning more about them. The smoky mushroom is subtle and rich, the Nan Zhao has a nice mucky bite. The Cha Yu Lin compares nicely with more gentle Lapsangs, I'm definitely going to get more of that."
