This is a classic Ripe tea blend, called "V93", it was first released in 2005 and quickly became one the most expensive ripe teas on the market. To this day the 2005 and 2006 V93 Ripe productions have commanded very high prices due to the fact that this is one of the most sought after Ripe teas for everyday drinking. It is smooth and full in the mouth. It is fermented just enough to break down the bitterness of raw pu-erh while lightly fermented enough to preserve the stimulating cha qi and hui gan of a raw pu-erh. After-taste is sweet and thick.

Mineral-taste, and warmth in each

"Mineral-taste, and warmth in each sip. It doesn't last very long, but it's worth it for the price. it's wonderful when you want a short session. Sweet in its own right and very inviting. Lovely aroma to add to the experience. Caramel? I'm not sure about energy."

Excellent value ripe puer

"This isn't my favorite ripe, but for the money it can't be beat. It has a nice rich, round, warming flavor."

So nice

"Super strong and with a kick to it, would be great for the morning cup. Doesn't last very long, maybe I didn't use so much of it. Still love it."

"Super quick shipping, really great quality, has a very nice aroma and warm earthiness to it. Taste is perfect!"

Delicious

"V93 might be my favorite ripe puerh so far. Thick, syrupy sweet, aromatic, lively, can be a bit bitter if pushed early on and has a nice stimulating energy. The flavor reminds me of maple syrup, rich caramel/toffee, maybe a tiny hint of fruitiness and typical wet earthiness. It has a unique satisfying 'liveliness' that I can't describe. I've had V93 from various production years and they're all very consistent in flavor and performance. Love it!"

Very good young V93

"This is even better V93 then 2015. Very good taste, good energy, very good price, buying again. Great for daily drinking or as a gift."

Very good young ripe Pu-erh

"It's a very good tea for its price. I exceeded my expectations. The tea soup is really thick, sweet and really dark. Suprisingly, there is no wet piling taste as far as I am concerned. The tea itself is very forgiving, steeping for a minute or for a couple of seconds will make a good cup of tea. It's a very drinkable tea now, but I know for sure that aging will make this tea even better. On the flipside, it's a bit one-dimensional. There is not much complexity developing in each steeping. But overall, a great tea. Great daily ripe. I'm not a shou fan, but I will recommend. And maybe buy again !"

Very good for drinking now, will probably improve over time, might become a classic

"Very nice ripe tea, despite its relatively young age (2017). Mellow, not bitter at all, nice brown rice aroma, very easy going (as in you-can-almost-never-steep-this-too-much). This is not for the faint of heart, though, as the soup is extremely aromatic, thick, with a nice dark-brown color (almost like coffee says my daughter). No wet pile aroma to speak of. Caramel, grilled plant and umami notes are present. I'm only rating this 4 stars because I feel it hasn't reached its full potential yet, and because I can only see "shortish" leaves in the tuo. As it is, this tea is very generous, and pretty straightforward: each steep gives off more of the same goodness. But I don't sense much complexity yet, I hope it'll come with time. Specifically, I'm hoping this will develop some high-end notes (dried cherry-like) eventually, like the Hong Yun or the 7562 references. But I'm not sure I'll be able to wait 4 or 5 years to see it happen."
