2021 Yunnan Sourcing "Huang Cao Ba Village" Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake
Huang Cao Ba village is in the northwestern part of Jinggu very near Mengku County. It sits at an altitude of 1700 meters and is home to tea trees with considerable age (50 to 250 years old). It's remoteness combined with its altitude and cloud-shrouded environment gives the tea unique "primitive forest" taste and aroma. A unique tea, from a little known village that will impress fans of Jinggu and Mengku teas.
This is a 2021 spring harvest tea, aged in Jinggu until 2025, when it was pressed into a cake. It's a smoother and less brash tea than it's 2025 counterpart. Get this one to drink now, and the 2025 for aging!
