Lovely De Hua Jade Porcelain cup, wth a spherical "egg holder" shape. Very nice to hold in the hand and excellent shape for tea! Stunning translucent material with a solid heavy feeling, and excellent heat retention!

De Hua "Jade Porcelain" (玉瓷) is a special process that involves very high firing temperatures to create a semi-translucent porcelain that is very uniform and able to transmit light and color with a wonderful effect.

Volume is 110ml (+/- 10ml)

Each cup comes in it's own plush gift box!

Perfect Cup

"I really like “larger” size white gongfu cups of 100 ml or greater, especially for solo sessions when using a brewing vessel of up to 150 ml. This Ice Jade Porcelain cup meets my volume needs, it’s sturdy with some weight to it, the texture of the cup is super smooth with zero imperfections and the semi-translucence adds a calming aesthetic. The open ‘egg holder’ shape allows the tea to cool down quicker (but not too fast) than my other fave cup the Ru Yao White Jade Celadon. This Ice Jade is the perfect Spring/Summer cup."
