Classic Tai Lian production from 2004. Dry stored in Guangdong for 11 years has given this a highly aged feel but not without compromising it's complex Yi Wu character.
The tea cake is composed of blended raw material from Lincang, Simao and Menghai sun-dried tea leaves.
A nice semi-aged tea with powerful cha qi countered with a developing aged mellowness.
The flavor is characteristically Yi Wu, subtle with a little "ku" and alot of thick mouth coating sweetness.
This cake has been dry-stored in Kunming since its production. The nutty Jing Mai mountain taste is present, bitter with a sweet after-taste.
