This is a special tea made from Jinggu Yang Ta Village Large Leaf varietal tea (Camellia Taliensis). The tea is picked in the late autumn, wilted slightly and then dried with warm wind tunneled through the tea until it is dry.
Most Silver Needles white tea originates from a hybrid varietal and is air-dried (not sun-dried). These Silver Needles are picked from the same Pure Assamica bushes that produce pu-erh. Our Sun-Dried Silver Needles are an Autumn harvest picked in early October.
Made entirely from Autumn material from the wild growing tea bushes with about 40-80 years age growing in Luo Shui Dong village near Yi Wu town in the Yi Wu Mountainous area of Mengla county (Xishuangbanna).
This roasted tea is made from Premium "AA" Grade Ben Shan oolong of Anxi county, Fujian. The tea was roasted for about 6 hours at a temperature of about 48C. This roasting gives the Ben Shan a nutty and sweet taste.
This Yunnan Bi Luo Chun green tea is the smallest pure bud tea grown in Yunnan. A varietal that is a cross between the classic Jiangsu Bi Luo Chun and Yunnan large leaf varietal, yielding a delicate Bi Luo Chun that can grow in cooler high altitude conditions.
A unique varietal of white tea grown in the high altitude mountains of Ai Lao range in the eastern part of Jing Dong County (Simao Prefecture). The tea processing is something in-between white and green tea. It has a strong thick aroma and hints of sugarcane and wheatgrass.
