"Qi Zi Zhi Ge" means Song of the Seven Tea cakes. It evokes the image of a tong of tea sitting patiently on a shelf waiting for time to pass, waiting for the tea to flower into something special. Ripe Pu-erhs from Menghai are very special.
A modern classic Da Yi production made entirely from spring 2008 first flush tea leaves from Menghai. This tea cake and recipe is batch 801 and was only produced in 2008. Nice strong mouthfeel and spring umami taste with strong pungent cha qi.
